We’d like to thank everyone who has signed up or shown interest in our courses from the bottom of our hearts, because our fall courses are almost full—with just a few spots left! We’ve already had a record number of sign-ups this fall in just a few days, which completely surprised us! This is an unprecedented situation for us, and we’re overwhelmed by the popularity of our fall courses.
Due to the record number of registrations, waiting lists have already formed for some of the classes within just a couple of days. We have spoken with our students and their guardians and heard a great deal of disappointment that many enthusiastic dancers were unable to register for the classes they wanted. As a result, this important hobby has been at risk of being put on hold for the fall. We recognize and understand this disappointment, especially for those students for whom our courses are the only opportunity to practice K-pop dance. In addition, we have received feedback that the fall course selection lacks a course that falls between the beginner and intermediate/advanced levels in terms of difficulty. After hearing this feedback, we’ve been considering different course options for students who feel intimidated by the intermediate/advanced-level course, even though they have the interest and basic skills needed to learn a full dance routine.
As stated on our website, KPOPDANCEOUL’s guiding principle from the very beginning has been that everyone should have the right and opportunity to participate, regardless of age, gender, or background. We are committed to upholding this value in every way possible. Based on the registration situation and the feedback we’ve received, we’ve decided to add one more full-length course for the fall semester: K-POP FULL SONG | 13+ (beginner/intermediate).
The new K-POP FULL SONG | 13+ (Beginner/Intermediate) course has been designed based on the feedback we’ve received and the popularity of our courses. The goal in adding this new course is to address the wishes and goals of those interested in the courses as comprehensively as possible. More details about the course content and schedule will be announced soon!
Registration for the K-POP FULL SONG | 13+ (Beginner/Intermediate) course opens on Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. The registration form will be temporarily closed while the form’s information is being updated. Due to the late and very tight schedule for the course launch, we are giving students who have already registered the opportunity to update their previous registration or switch courses. We especially ask students enrolled in the K-POP FULL SONG | 13+ (intermediate/advanced) course to take note! The first dance routines for the courses will be published on Monday, August 17. We encourage you to review the routines taught in both FULL SONG courses and consider which course better aligns with your preferences, goals, and skill level. Different dance routines will be selected for each course.
We also offer volume discounts for additional courses and will publish an updated price list soon. Detailed instructions on how to switch courses or modify a previous registration will be published during the registration period for the new course.
