Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can only be made by email to m.kpopdanceoulu@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation email in response to your cancellation. Cancellations are processed within 48 hours. The cancellation takes effect once you receive the confirmation email.
Full-length courses (fall and spring semesters)
Cancellation by the student before the first class of the course:
- No charge up to 7 days (168 hours) before the start of the first class.
- If you cancel less than 7 days (168 hours) before the start of the first class, a cancellation fee of 10€ will be charged. An invoice for the cancellation fee will be sent to the email address used during registration.
Cancellation by the student after the first class of the course:
- If you cancel less than 14 days (336 hours) after the start of the first class, you will be charged a one-time fee for the classes attended plus a €10 cancellation fee.
- If more than 14 days (336 hours) have passed since the start of the first class, the full course fee will be charged.
Intensive courses, workshops, camps, and events
Registration for intensive courses, workshops, camps, and events is binding, and it is not possible to cancel your registration either before or after the course begins. The full fee will be charged.
Cancellations Due to a Decision by KPOPDANCEOUL
- KPOPDANCEOULU reserves the right to cancel a class 2 hours before it begins.
- KPOPDANCEOULU reserves the right to cancel a course before it begins, in which case the course fee will be refunded in full.
- KPOPDANCEOULU reserves the right to cancel a course after it has begun, in which case the value of the remaining classes will be refunded.
One-time payment
You can participate in dance classes as part of a full-length course by paying a one-time fee, provided there is space available in the course. Check here to see if your course is SPACES AVAILABLE / A FEW SPOTS LEFT / FULL.

Prices and Payment Methods for Full-Length Courses (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Prices for full-length courses are updated every fall and spring semester. You can find the current price list here.
When registering for a full-length course, payment options include invoice, MobilePay, bank transfer, credit card, and cash. Payment instructions are detailed in the registration form and the semester start letter, which you can find in the email you used to register.
If a payment method other than invoice has been selected and payment has not been received by the sixth (6th) class session, an invoice will be sent to the participant at the email address provided during registration.
Prices and Payment Methods for Intensive Courses, Workshops, Camps, and Events
Payment options vary when registering for intensive courses, workshops, camps, and events. Payment methods and instructions are detailed in the registration form, which you can find in the email you received when you registered.
If a payment method other than invoice has been selected and payment has not been made within the payment deadlines specified on the registration form, an invoice will be sent to the participant at the email address provided during registration.
Liability for Payment
If the agreed-upon payment for services has not been made in accordance with the payment terms, the customer’s right to use the services may be restricted. KPOPDANCEOUL’s policy is that everyone should be able to participate, so if you have any questions about payments, please contact us as soon as possible by email at m.kpopdanceoulu@gmail.com
In cases of payment defaults by individuals under the age of 18, responsibility lies with the participant’s legal guardian.
The billing service has the right to charge late payment interest and reminder fees for late payments.
Student Absences
Temporary Absences
Temporary absences (1–3 class sessions) from full-length courses (spring and fall semesters) may be made up by attending a class of the same or shorter duration in another course. Absences can only be made up during the current term. You do not need to register for the make-up session in advance, but you must check in with the instructor at the beginning of the session. Temporary absences cannot be made up with workshops, events, or intensive courses. Temporary absences are not compensated financially.
Long-term absences
KPOPDANCEOULU will refund the cost of upcoming dance classes, workshops, intensive courses, and events in the event of long-term (more than four sessions) illness or injury, starting from the day the participant notifies us of their absence due to illness and submits a doctor’s note. Long-term absences must be reported by email to m.kpopdanceoulu@gmail.com immediately upon their commencement. Refunds will not be granted retroactively.
Rescheduling Classes, Substitute Teachers, and Other Exceptional Circumstances
Classes, workshops, and events may be rescheduled to a different time or location during the season, for example, due to a teacher’s illness or competitions. Participants enrolled in the courses will be notified of any rescheduling via email. Information about rescheduled classes will also be posted on Instagram (@kpopdanceoulu).
If necessary, a substitute teacher may be used if the regular teacher is temporarily unable to teach. The course instructor may be replaced during the semester if the instructor is unable to teach for an extended period of time.
Tuition fees for full-length courses (spring and fall semesters) are non-refundable, even if the dates, location, or instructor of the course change.
KPOPDANCEOULU reserves the right to cancel a class after it has begun, conduct classes remotely, or postpone the course by up to three (3) months due to force majeure circumstances beyond KPOPDANCEOULU’s control. Such force majeure events that exempt KPOPDANCEOULU from liability include, for example, the unavailability of facilities, a pandemic, or measures or recommendations issued by authorities. Course fees are non-refundable.
Processing of Customer Data and Communications
KPOPDANCEOULU collects the necessary personal information from participants. Personal information is used solely for communication and billing purposes and is not shared with third parties. Customers are responsible for ensuring that they enter their information correctly on the registration form.
By accepting these terms, you authorize KPOPDANCEOULU to send you informational emails. Urgent announcements will be sent via text message to the phone number provided by the participant. Please let us know if you would like to receive informational emails and announcements at a different email address or phone number.
KPOPDANCEOULU sends its customers newsletters about upcoming classes, workshops, and events. Would you like to be removed from the general mailing list? You can reply “NO” to any newsletter that does not pertain to your own class.
Recording Classes
Customers may not take photos or videos of our dance classes without permission. You must ask for permission from both the instructor and the other participants. You may always take photos or videos of yourself without permission, but please make sure that no one else appears in them.
KPOPDANCEOULU records photos and videos of its dance classes and events. This material may be used for informational or marketing purposes, such as on the website and on social media. Participants may choose to be excluded from photos and videos if they wish. Please inform the photographer if you do not wish to appear in photos or videos. You will be notified before photography begins.
Liability and Insurance
Students are not insured through KPOPDANCEOUL. Students are responsible for their own safety during dance classes.
KPOPDANCEOULU is not responsible for students’ personal belongings or lost and found items during dance classes, events, or outside of these settings. Students are personally responsible for their own belongings. Inquiries about lost and found items can be directed to the staff at the dance studio or event venue.
